Sarah Palin is my hero.
And I've thought about this since her nomination. She, a beauty queen, was able to beat out thousands (if not millions) of the more qualified for the spot of the Republican Vice President nominee. Her background, she got lucky with the title of Governor of Alaska, but before that she was a small town mayor and a PTA member, but not much else. This just goes to show if you have enough money and look hot you too can be president.
So, I've convinced myself I'm going to be governor of Indiana.
Here's a time line of Obama and Palin's life:

Her speech last night was magnificent though, she was very enjoyable to listen to. However her views are totally absurd. She's anti-feminist, anti-homosexuals, anti-abortion...but pro-guns. Sorry babe, I just can't back that. I highly recommend you watch for yourself.

I'm jealous that you actually like a candidate.
I am not looking forward to casting my vote (not that absentee votes get counted!)
1. The good news is you are a young person displaying an interest in national politics.
2. The bad news is you're allowing your views to be distorted by incredibly biased left-wing mass media outlets whose primary mission is to submarine anything they perceive as a threat to the Democratic Party.
I'm happy about #1 but disappointed about #2.
But the majority of the people under the age of 25 do not have #1 so I consider you ahead of the game at this point.
