Libby Can Cook Part 1

Freakishly Easy Beef Stroganoff:

You need:

~ A Crock Pot
~ 1 can campbell's cream of mushroom soup
~ 1 can campbell's cream of celery soup
~ 1 can campbell's french onion soup
~ 1 pound or so of cheap steak or stewing meat
~ 3 onions sliced if you so choose
~ 1 bag egg noodles
~ 1 16oz container sour cream (daisy)
~ salt and pepper

This is so easy it will seriously blow your mind! OK. If you want you can take a bit of oil and brown the meat, it will take like 5 minuets and make for a tastier meal (Donny will probably do this) but the meal will work just fine even if you omit this step. Also if you choose to use the onions you need to saute them in the same pan you used to brown the meat (throw in a bit of salt and pepper), they will saute quickly just give them a few minuets in the pan until they look a bit translucent. If you decide not to do this don't use the onions. So all you need to do is throw all the canned soups in the crock pot. DO NOT ADD WATER! I made the mistake of adding water the first time I made this and it was no bueno. Toss in the meat and onions (or not), cover, and then let sit for 8 hours. After 8 hours add the whole 16 oz thing of sour cream and mix. You should have this thick sauce. Boil water then cook the noodles. Top the noodles with the Beef Stroganoff and ENJOY! Seriously that took what, like 5, 10 minuets?? If that! Not only will this be dinner it'll probably be lunch the next day too!

One more small note...for this meal it's definitely worth buying the name brand ingredients. I've tried making this with Meijer canned soups and a lesser qaulity sour cream and it just isn't as good.
