ICI Ice Cream

One of the coolest joints around by far!!! Not only was it freezing outside but there was a line out the door for ICE CREAM! The owner and ice cream maker is a former tenured pastry chef of Chez Paniesse in Berkeley. The ice cream was AMAZING! I had a scoop of dark chocolate and chicory walnut. TJ had a scoop of maple and chocolate chip orange (omg so good there were candied orange peels in the ice cream), and my dad had a scoop of rose pistachio and the chocolate chip orange (the rose ice cream was delicious!). If you love Ice Cream like TJ you must go! It's in Berkeley on College and Ashby. AMAZING

Now for some bad news.
TJ has been REALLY sick since we've arrived. We finally found a DR who would see him yesterday and it sounds like he has a weird misalignment within his inner ear. This is was causes the chronic vertigo. He got a few Rx nausea pills but it's not really helping. Poor guy. And today is one of the few sunny days left! It's just such a bummer.
